My first major is business but I was rejected by foster school.And my second major is econ but I didnt finish all the preqs. All the class I took is to fulfill the business degree audit in my college.So could I still have a chance to be admitted by uw general admission as pre- major in business?My overall gpa is around 3.89.
My understanding of this process is that of you were rejected from Foster, you may still get in under your second major, econ. If you are accepted in GA for econ, youâll be assigned a major of âpre social scienceâ. You wonât be âpre businessâ because you didnât get in FOR business.

Edit to add: I would also presume youâll need to actually apply to the economics major separately once youâve been accepted at UW.

ANYONE HEARD BACK FOR ECON MAJOR?
Is anyone here applying for a major different from what they studied/have an associates of in CC?
@collager If itâs any consolation, I got rejected too with a 4 point unweighted. I emailed advising, and they said they only took 3 total OOS and intl. applicants this year. Out of over 1000 applicants. Thatâs to say that, numerically speaking at least, your odds of getting in to ECE as an OOS or intl. applicant are less than your chances of being admitted to Harvard AND Stanford. The deck was never really stacked in your favor to begin with 
(That probably also says something about appeal odds, but Iâm thinking of trying too.)
