I just got an email from HFS that says “We’re contacting you today to let you know that you are guaranteed a room in on-campus housing for the 2019–20 academic year. You will be assigned to a room some time in August“ but I still haven’t gotten accepted yet ?
@yonibaloni did they send you that out of the blue or had you inquired with them about on-campus housing?
@Oliy249 I just applied in May and I haven’t asked them anything about it, they just sent me that today but I paid the deposit about a month ago, deadline already passed.
I just emailed my admissions advisor and he told me my application is “ready for review” and I should hear back this month

I called earlier today and the advisor told me that they had made my decision and if I didn’t already have an email that I should expect it very soon! Pretty nerve wracking that they already made the decision but won’t send out the email already ?

@ee9999 I called to ask why I never received any sort of housing emails! The advisor was really nice and went into my account to check if they had ever sent me anything, and told me to check my email right then because they had already made my decision (she couldn’t tell me what it was) and that if I didn’t have it already I would have it very soon.
I just called admissions and they said no decision has been made on my application yet. I asked if it was reasonable to expect some applicants to hear back in July like previous years, and she said no, all decisions will be out in the next 15 days. Get ready y’all

@miles2019 Can confirm this! I emailed an admissions advisor hours ago if I could expect the decision by early July. He replied, quite briefly I might add, that I should find out if I have been admitted then. Good luck guys!

Anyone else applying to the College of Education hear back yet?
@Studyybee @UW2019tRASFER I JUST GOT INTO ECFS!!! I’m crying!! I got accepted directly into the college of education. My transcript loaded and I am able to accept the offer of admittance. The application status page hasn’t loaded yet but I got in!!!
My stats are:
I’m an out of state transfer with a associates degree in sociology from a California community college. I previously attended a private 4 year university in California on an athletic scholarship ( it wasn’t a good fit so I left). I have a 3.6 gpa and was Vice President of the honor society. I have tons of work and volunteer experience.
So freaking excited!!!
Can someone catch me up to speed on housing? Is the application due already? Any chance I’d get housing?
