As of now…no change to my status.
I called the admissions office and they said they couldn’t do individual admissions lookups because of the high volume of calls. I pressured them for about five minutes and finally they looked it up and said no decision has been made on my application. I don’t understand how they still could not have made a decision unless my acceptance/denial is predicated on accepted applicants denying the offer.
Well yeah transfers can be waitlisted too they just don’t make it clear in the portal.
News to me! Then I suppose I was waitlisted ?

@fishgrl well when I called she said they couldn’t look it up and I had to wait, and then I countered with the fact that I’ve called four other times and they were able to look up my application. I was kind of an a**hole and i asked to speak with her boss and she said her boss had left for the day. So then I was like oh so us transfers are sitting here trying to plan our lives and with 72 hours left for decisions, your boss just leaves and you refuse to help me? Then she looked it up…
@fishgrl I honestly think at this point the rest of us are waitlisted. I’ve been looking for a pattern. A high volume of people receive notices on Wednesdays and Thursdays, yet yesterday all we heard were denials. There are about 24 hours left at this point. When I called they said no decision was made on my application, which implies a waitlist decision was made. Since someone earlier said all decisions were made already. So I honestly think we are the “maybes”

@miles2019 I called around 10:30 and the guy I spoke with said they are running really behind on decisions and it could go until July. But not hearing from UW yet does not mean waitlist or denial it just means that admissions hasn’t finished reviewing apps.
Don’t lose hope! I was literally starting my search for a plan B when I absentmindedly opened a new tab and checked my unofficial transcript and it lOADED!!!
my gf and i are still waiting for results as well. she got an email today from an advisor she has been in contact with that she will not find out till after july 15

ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGG. 3 weeks ago, I checked with my admission counselor to make sure they had everything they need to review my application. Today, I received an email that they need an updated transcript in order to proceed.

Just got Accepted at 1:08pm today. The portal didn’t update but my unofficial transcript loaded and i was able to accept the offer of admission.
Pre-Social Sciences, 3.83 GPA from instate Community College at time of application. Good luck to everyone else!
@sylviermoone I got the same email a few weeks ago saying they never got my official transcript. I ordered it right after so they should definitely have mine by now, but my portal has not been updated
