Has the UW requested any information from y’all? I got an email in late April telling me that they were “in the process of reviewing my application and require updated transcripts”. Seems like they started reviewing them a while ago.

Almost two weeks into May and no one for Fall quarter has been updated? So nerve-wracking!
Hi, everyone. I am an international student from WA state CC.
My GPA is 3.86 and intend major is Early Childhood Education and Family Studies.
I was so anxious too about the UW decision. However, I just checked last year Fall transfer’s forums. It seems like most of them started to receiving decisions from June. So, don’t panic!
I got accepted a few weeks ago and committed last week. I’m a freshman with a 4.0 at my current college and an IB diploma from high school. The unofficial transcript trick didn’t work for me; my acceptance was posted the same day that my transcript loaded.
@UW2019tRASFER I am also an ECFS transfer. From CA! There’s no way that we are waiting for June, I might cry lol (UC deposits are due June 1st but UW is my first choice)

ECFS program decision date is May 15 so a couple more days!!! Idk what I’m gonna do if we do get an answer on Wednesday. I’m right here w you! Did anyone apply as ECO in Education ? their program decisions came out on April 30th apparently?

I applied for ECO, but transfers cannot be admitted directly into major. I think all ECO transfers are pre majors. Where did you hear from that ECO decisions came out April 30th?
But yea I haven’t heard anything from anyone yet… hopefully not a bad sign. Education majors, please update if anything comes out!!

It literally says on the UW education website that ECO desicions were April 30th… and ECFS is May 15th…but you haven’t heard from them? Idk if ECO is different than ECFS. If we don’t hear back on Wednesday I’m calling!!
I kind of wonder whether that April 30 date is for students already enrolled at UW waiting to hear whether they were admitted into the major?
For those who have already heard, did you get an email? Or do you just have to check the portal regularly?
@Holahihello I called, they said the ECFS is scheduled for May 15th email notification. If you’re ECO you should probably call to get an update bc the programs are different.
@Educmajor21 @Holahihello I just got an email following up my phone call that ECFS transfers will be notified by the University not the college of education. Notification is May and June… still hoping to hear on Wednesday but if not I’ll reach out to the director

Hey guys! I applied in Feb, still waiting to hear back! Got into my other schools and they need the tuition deposit soon so hopefully we hear back one way or another soon! My friend said she got accepted for Foster/UW on her birthday last year which was May 10th! Anyone else applying for the Media/Cinema major?
