Community college student looking to transfer to UW Seattle Autumn 2017 to major in Informatics.
My personal statement is good, I had several counselors (including a previous admissions counselor) review it.
My GPA is at a 3.8 (pretty rigorous classes, Chem/Calc) and I have around 59 credits at the end of Spring quarter. However, I’m currently completing a career technical degree so only 40-48ish credits will be applied making my cumulative GPA less than it is (3.3 ish). I will also have all of the required prereqs for the Informatics program completed at the end of Spring as well.
Since I might have less than 45 credits the admissions faculty will also review my high school transcript.
I graduated high school with a GPA of 3.7 (I had 4 AP classes/no honors). My SAT score was around average.
What do you guys think? Please let me know
