Anybody know of where most transfer live??
@NosyParent16 I just tried to apply for housings…it says that you have to accept admission first, pay the enrollment fee (or defer it to financial aid) and then wait 3 days for that to process. Sooo a little more waiting to get that done.
For those of us waiting for a decision that have applied to SILS, our decisions will NOT be out today. I talked to someone in that department and they said they received our applications this week way later than they were supposed to. She did say that she expects to give the decisions to the admissions office on Monday.
I know most of the transfers live in state.
Woah, apparently, my application is still under decision because I haven’t submitted my 9th grade school report.
Quite strange, given that two weeks ago I had no to-do items on my list. 
Hmm, so I can’t quite remember if I called to check if all my financial aid items were properly received. I don’t see a specific to-do list for financial aid, but there is a to-do list to the right of the student center and it says I have no to do’s— does this mean my financial aid application is complete?
I think they are just behind all around because I have several friends who are in the C-Step program that have not received a decision either.
@InfiniteOdds if you are logged into connect carolina…you should see a tab on the left that says finances…right under that it says “financial aid”, and then “view financial aid”…click view financial aid and it should have the year for you to click on…and it should tell you if it’s in process or not
Hey guys! I jus RSVPed for the transfer welcome event! Did you guys get the email yet?
Well I can’t really sign up for classes since the transfer credit report isn’t up yet! 
@cescalante011 I was thinking the same for now I signed up for 3 classes that didn’t require prerequisites because I know some classes will fill quickly…I was thinking of emailing registration to ask if there is someway they can override the system if you already have the desired prerequisites…because ive read that our credit report will not be up until May sometime

i live about 2 hrs away so I’m not sure which event will be more beneficial to go to…perhaps the later one where we can set up advising appointments…are you going to all events??
guys if we accept the offer and enrol in classes, are we then liable to pay the first semester of tuition even if you decide to go to another school? i still havent heard back from 2 of them. how long do we get to accept the UNC offer?

@transfer1738 I think may 15th is the deadline for us to enroll…but in order to enroll for classes you have to pay the deposit or defer it…so I would think if you decide to go elsewhere you would just risk losing your enrollment fee…that’s just my guess tho
anyone got scholarship information?and also Honors invitation? They said within 2 weeks on the 31st of march when admission was offered…
@rksugarland The honors college is a separate application that goes live in September
I don’t know anything about scholarships though so if someone could please fill me in on that
@Gowolfpacks18 Cool! I live in Charlotte so about 3 hours away. I picked the April 29th event, and I’m going to attend both the events on the 29th. The walking tour and the welcome reception.
I know at least three of us are out in California. Honestly the biggest factor I see is just gpa.
