Unweighted GPA

HOw does the unweighted GPA works for Stanford? I went to one of their college sessions and I heard that they make all A- and A+ to A, and B-, B+ to B...etc. So is this true?

Does anyone know anything about Stanford's system of recalculation of the GPA?

first off, they ONLY look at core curriculum classes. Im not 100% sure, but they might weigh the grades like the UC schools, where if you have a B in an AP/Honors class it translates to an A. But the main thing is that no electives other than things like foreign languages count towards your GPA.

Thank you very much

no problemo
