unweighted gpa

how do u calculate that

Add up your final grades (A=4,B=3,C=2,D=1,F=0) and divide by the number of grades.

so if you get all a's u have a 4?
what do colleges look at. unweighted or weighted

unweighted usually is

A/A+ - 4
A- - 3.7
B+ - 3.3
B - 3
B- - 2.7
C+ - 2.3
C - 2
C- - 1.7
D+ - 1.3
D - 1
D- - 0.7
F - 0

~_~, no F+'s I know, I'm just as disappointed as you.

Yes, all A's would be a 4.0. It depends on the college, top colleges will recalculate anyway to their own scale factoring in honors/AP/IB while your major state university might just look at weighted.

what if our school uses 100% system instead of ABCDEF?

why is this in the AP forum?

average your percents by the total number of classes... If that number is above 95, you have a 4.0. If you have a 91, it's either a 3.7 or 3.6. The list goes on...

I think the PR website (or was it collegeboard?) has a GPA calculator.

What would be an "A-"? Is a 92 an A-? Is a 93 an A-?

I believe a 90-94 is an A-.

so wait....then if u have like a 95 (Exactly) average, that means u got A 4.0 GPA?

really?! our school says that <92 is a B.........

i was ASKING..lol

i thought 93-96 is A and 90-92 is A-

it varies. my school has

A : 94-100
A-: 90-93
B+: 86-89
B : 83-85
B- : 80-82
C+: 76-79
C : 73-75
C- : 70-72
i dont know the rest.

however, teachers can change that if they want. the math department uses a whole different scale. but we never have A+.

At my school, A: 95-100, B: 94-85, C: 84-75, D: 74-70, F :69-0
