So I've been looking at summer programs and I came across this one from University of Pittsburgh. I was mainly wondering, can anyone tell me how prestigious this summer camp is? In addition, how selective is it? I know it shouldn't even come close to RSI, but as a current sophomore, I feel like this is one of the only summer science programs that I can apply to with a hope of getting in. My main worry is that since this program is so long (2 months), it may eat up time that I may potentially need to work on a research project at a nearby university.

This program is fairly hard to get into. It’s not like those summer programs that accepts most applicants regardless and sophomores are a rarity among the groups. If you do however get in, the program is very rewarding as you’re doing legitimate, advanced, and in-depth research so it’s definitely worth the two months
Also it is a VERY prestigious program as most kids I know who have done this program have gone on to places like UPenn, Harvard, MIT, and Stanford (to name just a few)
