Despise Auburn? Good, lets annihilate them while we feed the hungry. Beat Auburn Beat Hunger

October 11th and runs through November 22.

During the six weeks leading up to the Iron Bowl, the University of Alabama and the West Alabama Food Bank challenge Auburn University and the Food Bank of East Alabama to see who can collect more non-perishable food to help needy Alabama families. Since the drive began in 1994, the two schools have combined to collect nearly 2.5 million pounds of food. The Community Service Center will be collecting nonperishable food items, as well as monetary donations.

Ways to contribute to those less fortunate:

A $10 donation can also be made by texting BAMA to 27722 and replying Yes.

Collection barrels will be placed at various locations both on and off campus. Donations will also be accepted at the Community Service Center, located at 346 Ferguson Center, and online at beatauburnbeathunger.ua.edu.
