<p>I applied to SLS in December(I was rejected). Since then, I have several new activities ect. I was just wondering how to update my file. Also, should I update it now or when my candidate kit is sent in August? Thanks!</p>
<p>If I were you this is what I would do:
take your SAT's/ACT's again this spring - there are several more opportunities. Have the scores sent DIRECTLY to USMA.
At the end of this school year have your guidance offices send your official transcripts to USMA.
You can safely wait until your transcripts are sent to update your file with significant awards, athletic, academic and leadership accomplishments.</p>
<p>You won't get your candidate kit until late August- early Sept. - unless they are actually going online - then I dont know what they will be doing.</p>
<p>Anyway - next school year - when/if you earn a significant accomplishment - like you get your eagle scout or earn an athletic award - then send in those as soon as it happens.</p>
<p>Sounds like you are on the right track - don't feel badly about not getting SLS - if you can schedule a candidate visit. You can do that this spring or in your senior year.

As stated on other postings, SLS rejection is not the kiss of doom. </p>
