Update: Remaining Decision Letters

Never tried a Garbage Plate, but we have threatened to take D for white hots for her graduation dinner!

I prefer white hots to the average hot dog… I have to assume neither are particularly healthy, but it sounds like a nice graduation dinner to me! You could always get a white hot garbage plate.

Hey MConklin,

I’m an international student living on a Caribbean island. I’ve been waiting to hear from U. Rochester for quite some time now - is there any other way that I can know my decision? Although the wait is exciting, I’m getting a bit pressured for time because my parents would like to plan to visit all the colleges that have offered me a spot. Thank you!

Garbage Plates – Now THAT should be in your recruiting materials!

My mailman comes in 1 hour…If I don’t get a mail from U Rochester by then…I will just assume I got rejected.

Don’t assume, just call em. I still haven’t heard anything either, but when I talked to my AC on Friday, he said that it was possible that there was something that fell through and the letter had not been sent yet. He wasn’t as helpful as was hoped, since the mail person had left already, but the point is, go ahead and call, you may be able to find out something, and it’s possible there was a mistake somewhere along the line.

I was admitted last week, but there was no mention of financial aid in the letter.
When / How should I be expecting a financial aid offer?
Thanks in advance

FA information comes in a separate letter that’s should arrive about 1 week after you receive your acceptance.

Need based aid comes via email, merit aid comes via snailmail. Both about a week after acceptance.

I just got my mail from FedEx and I’m really happy! The letter was dated March 29th, so technically it’s my local FedEx facility’s fault for taking forever. I got in - that’s what matters most :).

I just received an email about my financial aid package. However the Pin number provided leads to an error message. Ideas on what to do?

^you could always wait till tomorrow to contact them and see what’s up…

i got an email from my financial aid counselor asking for tax return/w-2 forms. it says to forward them, which makes me think i should be emailing it as an attachment but that’s sorta weird, no? is that how other people sent them in too?

Yeah I just emailed Charles Puls to see what’s going on. Hopefully I get a response soon…

Technically faxing would be “forwarding”. I’d rather fax tax documents than emailing them.
