<p>So according to the Princeton thread, they accepted a few off the wait list today</p>

<p>looking at last year’s thread, there were a few acceptances around June 20s so my guess is that we won’t hear back (accept or reject) until two weeks from now.</p>
<p>so when they said “mid-june,” did penn mean that they would know if they would offer any wait listed students spots by then (meaning everyone would either be accepted or released on one day), or that simply everyone would hear something by then? i really don’t like this rolling thing</p>
<p>Harvard just took a few off of their extended wait list! That’s good. There’s a chance that one of those people now attending Harvard previously committed to UPenn. Have hope guys. If we don’t get it, we continue with life and continue to reach for success.</p>

<p>i was re-reading the email sent with the active wait list information stuff and it said that “we expect to know if we will extend any additional offers by mid-june.” that seems to mean that even if they do accept students, they won’t know until mid-june</p>
<p>No, they have accepted students already. Like I said before, when I called the admissions office, they let me know that starting a week before I had called, they started accepting students. I don’t know how many, and they obviously haven’t posted here, but Penn definitely did make offers already.</p>
<p>Last year they sent out a similar email saying “mid-June” and that ended up being June 22nd so I feel like we won’t know until June 21st.</p>

<p>I’ve just assumed by this point that if it comes, it comes. If not, no big deal. Mid-June just means being added to the third round of purgatory (I think?)</p>

<p>@canada747 that’s a good mentality! i’ve just become somewhat obsessed with it just because of the waiting. if it’s a no, then there’s always the option to transfer</p>
