Not everyone will be rejected of course, but the % must be more than those in the 1st batch.

^^there is still hope

to answer a previous question, when u log in the decision pops up

i actually wasnt expecting it at like 11 AM i jumped backwards

gl u guys

oh... and my stats are on the first post in the thread

I'm not sure what they're whole process is regarding these "batches", but it must not have anything to do with the order in which they received the apps, because I sent my app in on the deadline date

is anyone for the class of 2010?

i am for the class 2010

ugh! i keep trying to find reasons why i didn't find out and none of them are working lol

are you scared of the workload in Upenn

I am scared that I am going to fail in Wharton.
I am serious

^^^If you are scared that you will fail, then you won't. If you weren't the least bit worried, it might be a problem. Of course, that doesn't mean that they are mutually exclusive.

some of you wharton acceptances should really consider rejecting their offer.... so that i can get accepted.... PLEASE!

i take upstair's post as a joke???

if i also applied to harvard and happend to be accepted sure i will give up wharton
lol

im class of 2010

Im pretty freaked out too about the work, but i think itll be manageable. They have an admissions process for a reason. If we can get into the school, we can definately handle their work. Doing as well at Penn as we did in our school might be a bit of a challenge, but my friends there said the work actually isnt that bad.

I've made up my mind to attend penn next fall. I am a bit worried about the work-load, and I feel like I am going to fail out and become homless... I wonder how hard chemical engineering is at penn....

Is anyone else worried about getting a 3.0 and then crying yourself to sleep at night?

I'm worried about crying myself to sleep at night because I didn't get accepted. Guys, you are so lucky-you'll be able to handle it, don't worry. God, has anyone else found out today yet?

negative.

Did anyone received EMAIL right before their decision was posted?

You guys need to calm down somewhat. Especially those of you who got in, and are concerned with your ability to do the workload. As selective as these processes are, I take it they can weed out those who they think are incapable of doing the work. They've chosen you; so that in and of itself should be an affirmation that you're up to the task.

yea, I agree. I would actually bet that the schools we're coming from are more difficult than Wharton, because our schools want to take Penn's place at the top of the rankings.

I think you misunderstood my anxiety. There isn't a question of whether or not "I can do that work", simply because that doesn't mean anything.

What does "doing the work" mean? My little brother, 8 years old, can do the work, it doesn't mean it will be correct though.

The concern is whether or not people will be able to hold a 3.8 + GPA, similiar to their GPA's at their previous universities. I am sure lots of people "can do the work", but frankly, who wants a 3.3 GPA? I would /cry.

Which seems to be strongly related to the question of whether you can successfully do the work.

if you guys are that paranoid that you can't handle it... or too afraid of dropping ur gpa to like a 3.3 then you shouldnt have applied is all i have to say
