well how much longer then...why can't they give us a definitive ****ing answer

****ing bastards

not that I care anymore either (yeah UVa)

but for the people saying that they do this every year... umm... no.
they take forever, yes. people complain and complain. but look at last year.

EVERYONE KNEW BY THE FIRST FRIDAY IN JUNE.

so NO. They DO NOT do this every year.

We should have found out today.

Fk this st!

racnna i love your enthusiasm :P

i saw we *ing go over there and KICK SOME *ING ASS

(p.s. almost 6 o'clock... could be at 6)

i could walk there in like 5 minutes from where i am right now

i just left work there... i just rode my bike past that god forsaken building

well i give up. its deff not happening tonight. guess ill be back here on monday

maybe they shouldnt have wasted so much time in ca....

you guys need to relax. I understand your frustration completely. The thing is I would bet the decision were mailed today. If you happen to live in the new jersey, new york, or pa area, you probably will get a letter tomorrow. They have proven to be slow putting up online decisions. I got in 2 weeks agos and still have no online decision....

easy to say when your on the other side-are you going to penn or staying at your current institution?

the office is open on sat. right?

no .

i called in this morning..the student said" it's on a rolling basis and it could be anytime btw now and june 30th"
i said "i was told two weeks ago it's btw then and today"
the girl repeated what she said
i said "i was told clearly today is the last day to release decisions"
she transferred to transfer admissions
the old lady said "they are putting decisions up now"
i asked "does that mean we'll definitely get our decisions by the end of today"
it's a positive.
i don't know if they are still working but i would be really annoyed if we don't get it today. they have said june 1st so many times. penn is the last school probably to release decisions. i'm leaning towards gtown. they are so much friendlier. i emailed the officer and she replied in two hours with the decision.

don't judge a school by its admissions office.

I really hated columbia after sitting in on their info session the lady who was hosting it, who was also actually head of transfer admissions really seemed rude and snotty

I think I am going to Penn in response to chemwiz's question, provided that my credits come through.

Columbiahopeful - weren't you waitlisted at Columbia? I don't remember (though I do remember being somewhat acidic to you in a previous post; sorry, and good luck).

*** Penn???? Ever since that person got in with a 3.3, I've got all stupid and hopeful again (I HAD talked myself out of it and was happy with Barnard) and have been checking the site obsessively, as I'm sure you've all been, too. I know they're Penn and everything, but couldn't they have a little more respect and consideration for their applicants? Or, at least, not announce officially that decisions are being released June 1, then neglect to follow through? I expected better. What excuse could they possibly have?

???? Linguistics, international relations, planning on law school. Any suggestions or opinions on which I should choose?

put it this way james, I got into 2 of those as a freshman and just only got into Penn as a transfer. That should tell you something.
