UPenn Official Transfer Thread Fall 2007

And i go to a top 15 as we speak, so...I say Penn

^^ why don't you want to say what university you attend instead of "top 15"?

"Top 15" doesn't mean anything if they are ranked "15" in baseball. So declaring your school "top 15" is meaningless, unless you tell us what the "15" is relative to. My school was ranked "2". I think I should mention that my school was ranked "2" for ugliest campus.

Anybody heard anything? Are they sending emails out, or letters?

Hey guys, I am not sure if this help or not, but my sister applied to PENN Wharton, sohopmore transfer, she got a letter today, rejected. But it is cool since she is already decided on a different school.

The letter is dated from May 23rd. There are currerntly nothing online. It was just a thin letter containing a one page rejection with an offical envelope. She did call in a few times a couple weeks to ask when the decisions would be coming out and they told her to expect answer late may.

Columbiahopeful goes to Northwestern.

^^ I thought he goes to Cornell

has anyone gotten their preliminary course evals?

^^^ i haven't

meh maybe I was pretty sure he said NU on another thread.

Jimmy, ru going to penn?

did you guys get your decisions?

aspirant: does philly have african food stores? Where in philly is upenn? university city?

african food stores? probably.. but i don't know of any.
you'd probably have to go to reading terminal market in center city for that.

upenn is in west philadelphia. it's in the university city district.

Columbiahopeful,

I am 95% sure about williams. However, if I get a bad vibe after visiting, I want to have Penn as a backup. Since their deposit isn't due until a week after course evals and finaid are available, I am hoping that will give me time to visit Williams.

today is the day that will change my life forever

Guys, I've been reading your entire thread as I am interested in applying for transfer in 2008. I feel for you... I was wondering, do you think junior transfers to Wharton stand a chance whatsoever? Do you think taking something like 20 credits every semester and still getting all As helps? Best of luck to all of you!

conversation at 9:18 AM....
