Accepted, as long as I complete Calculus II and Macro this summer semester.

anyday now... I'll find out soon if I got accepted... haha...

Hey guys quick question. I got into UPenn as a transfer student and just got my transfer credit report. In the report they said that 8 out of my 9 classes will transfer. i was just wondering how this will work for GPA? Will my GPA start fresh at Penn, or will the 8 classes i get credit for count in my GPA, or will 9 of my classes count in my GPA?

Thanks

you will have a fresh new gpa once you start at penn.
what college did you transfer from btw?

if i transfer it will be from Dartmouth. Its real iffy tho if im gonna transfer. wat u think?

Did anyone ever get a real explanation as to why some decisions weren't mailed until this Friday?

I got my Japanese, math, Econ all transferred.. Hopefully I can get my English 125 transferred ....

finger crossed

how do u know if ur courses will transfer? I only have a department name in fron of the courses that I've taken, does that mean they ARE transferred?

i think so.

this sucks. I want to know if I got accepted or not. Anyone else still waiting?

it really sucks man it's June 10th now, some people have gotten their decisions a month ago

Does anyone know when we get our Upenn email addresses?

^^ they are supposed to be on their way...

I got the pennkey n the email account already.

hmm did you get them online, by email, or by mail?

But how would he deal with the pre-professionalism that he despises so much? What are his reservations about Chicago, if any, that prompted his decision to stay at Penn?

^^ by mail

'tisthetruth- I don't think he had enough time to really get a feel for the city of Chicago or the students. He does feel it offers a better education than Penn, but will try to create that for himself. He is moving off-campus and taking some seminar-type courses and will see how it all goes. He also thinks he can graduate early if he stays at Penn, which saves some nice $$$. His life has been on the east coast for 3 years, and I think that was a big factor.

racna- u mentioned spring 08 transferring... thought u should know penn doesnt accept spring transfers

Rejected. Got my rejected today... i don't get why they had to take so long. Wharton.
