penn and NYU dont i dont know about the others

I just finished all my final exams and my GPA is now 2.8, would UPenn revoke my admission for that?

2.8? dang....

you got some splainin to do.

I got my transfer credit. I just see a bunch of course departments next to courses. Like most of them, do not have an exact course title even for courses that are identical matches.

what was your GPA before that... did you get like straight Cs las quarter?

ru talking about me....I had a 4.0 again last quarter

i think he was talking to rejectedfrom mit.

columbia- are you foreal? like they have the department listed?so for eg. ,for calc 1 and 2 you'll just see 'Math' for both?

um, I am in CAS, not engineering. But Calc 1 was one of those exact matches. It came up as Math 106. However, for others, for insance, it says

Economics 310-2, ECON

I called up and she said, you just have to go during orientation to get them approved, but she said, if you see department next to it, it means you are getting credit for it. She said they just do not have times to look up exact matches before hand. But, I got credit for everything. In fact, I already exceeded 18 units allowed by Penn for transfers, and that is without my last quarter at Northwestern and AP credits. So I am alrite...I guess. Did everyone else have exact matches for most of the courses?

I got a 4.0 last semester, this semester I got a 2.8 but I still pulled an A+ in the Computer Science Class (which is my major), a B in Physics, 2 Cs in English and Chemistry (chemistry is not part of the computer science curriculum and I don't think that English class will transfer anyways). I'm I ok or is there something I have to do? Personally I don't think it is a huge problem since they are actually accepting people with 3.3 GPAs and I'm in SEAS...

hey.. don't hate on the guy with the 3.3.

lol i'm not hatin'

mmm maybe i shouldn't go to Penn... I'd hate to be labelled "the kid that got in with a 3.3"...

lol.. they wouldn't have accepted you if you weren't qualified..

rejectedfrommit- how the heck did you get C's in english. your essays were like perfect..did you slack off or what?

No but I didn't do a single homework and I missed an exam, that's why

And how is that considered "not slacking off"?

it is actually

But you said "no" >.<
