If someone could give me their opinion I’d appreciate it very much! So back when the WL update email was sent out I emailed admissions back with a brief update but I never received a response. Could this be because they chose not to or never saw it?

I did the same thing and they told me to update it to my portal, that was their response:
"Thank you for reaching out to our office. Please submit this application update through the Upload Materials section of your Penn Portal. "

does anyone think that uploading a 1520 sat score (superscore) would help my app at the wl stage (i went test optional at first but now im considering it)
i don’t think so, because they explicitly stated the waitlist update was the only opportunity to update them.
at this point I really don’t think its our scores that will play a factor in determining acceptance, it really is all about if there is space available. but I guess uploading your scores wont hurt.

The undergraduate admission office was contacted by our school council ,today thursday morning at around 11 am. Although the information provided was not highly specific, they mentioned that we should anticipate hearing back by the end of the month if anyone is off the waitlist. He didnt even want to go theough anybspecific information like if the yield is highbor low or whatsoever. I am not hoping too much and i am losing hope.

No I am desperate to get in. I already submitted like 35 updates
when I look at other previous threads, I think Upenn has a history of sending out the first decision on Thursday. Like last year, it was Thursday the 5th, the year before Thursday the 20th, and so on.
Isn’t today the last Thursday of may though?
