Can I assign the same man to be my counselor to fill out the school forms and also as my teacher to provide a teacher recommendation? I am home-schooled in a center of very few faculty members and he is the single only person available for this, and the schools I am applying to require two teacher recs. I have got one done already. I sent both school forms n teacher rec requests to him weeks ago on the same email but he only got the school forms request. I resent the teacher recs to a different email of his. Deadline is in 2 days and I can't find answers anywhere and common app support is not replying me :( have I solved the problem by resending the teacher rec to his other email?
pls help :(

yes no prob

First of all, you just need to have your application in by the deadline. If your recommendations arrive after the deadline, it just delays your review, but doesn’t count against you.

Second, homeschoolers often have unusual situations to work around - you may have to check with your schools about how they want to handle this. There is also a forum on cc just for homeschoolers, so you can ask your question there. Objectively, I see no reason why your guidance counselor can not also be your teacher - he’d need to respond to both requests though since they ask for different information. But your schools are the place to go with this question.

thanks, the two of you! glad to report that we managed to get everything in by the deadline :)
