<p>I got accepted to IU Bloomington. I wanted to take a year off before going there but my parents kept arguing with me. However, they finally told me that I could do that. My reasons for the year off are that I missed the November 1st scholarship deadline and for personal reasons.
My question is after I tell them I am not going, can I reapply and still get the automatic acedemic scholarship? I read their site and it only says incoming freshmen so I assume that I qualify for them still.</p>
<p>I answered your same question in another of your threads. In the FAQ’s on IU’s website, it states that scholarships are not reviewed when deferring a year. You should call and ask to confirm.</p>
