<p>Hi guys, as you may know that ED/EA deadline coming up and i have not * yet* decided which school I am gonna apply ED. Please chance me. I want to choose the school in which I have best chances.. Here we go. Oh and please bear with me. :)</p>

<p>Basic Info: ** International Applicant from India FINANCIAL AID REQUIRED **
High school type: Private, moderately competitive.
Extremely poor background. I have to maintain lots of jobs and run errands for making living for our family. ( including cycle repairing, car cleaning, hawking the streets, and teaching maths to students)</p>

<p>Grades and G.P.A
9th- 10/10 (G.P.A)
10th-10/10( G.P.A )</p>

<p>Test scores:
SAT1: 2260 Math-800, CR-680, Writing-780
SAT2 : math-800, Physics-800, Chem-780( err, I made bubbling errors)
CANNOT TAKE TESTS AGAIN FOR FINANCIAL REASONS</p>

<p>academic awards and achievements: ( H.S only )[ul]

[</em>] 99 percentile in PSA( an aptitude exam ) exam conducted in all H.S of india and mandatory for all H.S students.
[<em>] Published 3 scientific papers in scientific journals. Couldn't do research because of less time, money and opportunities.
[</em>] South region( including 7 states ) Spell Bee champion.
[<em>] South region ( including 7 states ) Debate champion.
[</em>] State level Debate champion for 3 years in a row.[/ul]</p>

<p>essays: I don't really know but they revolve around my financial hardships and the work I do.

PS: I couldn't be involved heavily in many EC's cuz of lack of time.
Chances required:
Yale,Princeton,Harvard,MIT,Dartmouth,Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Stanford( college choices heavily depend on financial aid )</p>

<p>Please guys chance me as I have to choose a school to which I would be applying early. I will chance you back !! Any comment, even criticisms ;), are hugely appreciated.. Oh and specially comment on my EC"s and special chance for MIT too!!</p>

<p>you will have a good chance at cornell ED. The others are tougher to get into. You could go for the tata scholarship at cornell since you mentioned that you require FA.</p>

<p>Thanks soccerGuy7! Even I was thinking of the same. Pls chance me, in detail, for rest of schools. Please give me any advice and/or criticisms that you think will help my app.

<p>In all honesty, on CC, your EC’s are going to seem bland if they’re list like. Awards are impressive in a general sense but normal in the top college sense. Given your personal circumstances, however, your achievements are brilliant. Do apply to SCEA to Harvard/Yale.</p>

<p>PS your jobs are ECs too. Make sure to give them the same importance on your app as you do to your other ones.</p>

<p>I will not offer chances unless it is important to point it out to people that all colleges are reaches for intl students needing significant aid. I only offer recommendations, and in your case, I recommend you SCEA to Harvard/Yale. If you get outright rejected, then you need to cast a wide net.</p>

<p>The colleges that can do financial aid for internationals are reaches, even ED/EA.</p>

<p>Dude. Don’t apply like that. Apply ED if you’re sure its your first choice. Don’t do it for chances. I hate to be blunt, but that is just stupid.</p>
