<p>how important is the "URM hook." I am a URM and just curious to see if it "boosts" one's chances in the admissions process? I am not relying on this hook, as I have strong EC's as well as academics, however, my SAT is a 2040, which is not too bad but still just a bit short. THANKS!! :)</p>
