URoc vs. RIT

<p>So every time I tell someone I'll be attending University of Rochester this upcoming fall, everyone always ask "Oh, Rochester Institute of Technology?". I'll respond, "I SAID UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER!". Lol. </p>

<p>I'm from PA and not a lot of people from my city know about URoc, but they all know about RIT and the thing is they think RIT is a better school. Does this happen to anyone else, where people are more fond of RIT and believe it's more prestigious? At first this didn't bother me, but after 6 encounters with the same situation it's getting a little annoying. </p>

<p>Ah, University of Rochester. You are really quite fine academically, far better than RIT in most fields held in common…yet you are overshadowed by the lesser.</p>

<p>As one who has seen propaganda in full bloom, comrades, your propagandists are not so good. Hire better ones.</p>

<p>I suggest you look up RIT, so you can know the difference. RIT is aimed at technical careers.</p>
