For the one where you needed to find a value “n” in order to result is 63 integers out of the set of 100, did anyone else choose 16? What I thought was that “n” needed to be an integer that fit a maximum of six times into 100, regardless of the remainder, and that was not a multiple of 3. 16 seemed to fit the bill, so I went with that.

ERGGH if i get all the mc right, but i got a grid-in wrong, can i get an 800

@Ronaldofan94 that’s right.
@ojodeltigre I’m in the same position as you, but probably not. I’m hoping for a 790, expecting a 780 (although this month’s math was fairly challenging, or some of them anyway)

For the answer 10/3. I put in the grid in 3.33, please tell me that would work.

What do you guys think, got one wrong (grid-in) and omitted one, is that a 750+?

Any1 have and example of 1 question from the experimental math?

@Ronaldo: I’m not sure of your reasoning of six times, but 16 does work.
3 goes into 100 33 times. So 33 integers are removed, leaving 67. Since you need 63 integers total left, you need to remove 4 integers, not counting repeats (integers already removed by the 3).
16 works: multiples are 16, 32, 48, 64, 80, 96.
48 and 96 are removed by the 3, meaning that the other 4 are removed by the 16. Thus you now have a total of 63 integers.

@CluelessJunior: Yes, decimal form works.

@Vapperss: There were several different from what I’ve seen. Something about Crazy Hats, something with computer and drawing tool colors, and mine had a pyramid with a smaller pyramid inside and you had to compare volumes.

anyone know the question#16 in gridin anyone???

@clueless junior- its ok
@brotherjames37- yeah, I think u can get a 750-760

does anyone else freak out you accidentally put the wrong answer? I always do

Sigh, this forum’s making me depressed… :(

so what’d you guys get on previous SATs (if you’ve taken them) ?

1990 :/

700 CR
660 M
630 W

I was hoping I could get my math up to 700 but looks like not anymore. Hopefully Ill be able to pull up my Writing Score… Guess I might retake in November

@iamchris
the answer was 180. did it have something to do with triangles? all i can remember was i got it down to x-90+270= 120*3 lol?

1980 in march (680 math, 700 writing, 600 reading… I know I did really bad =(
predicted scores: math-800
writing-750ish
reading-680-690
total score prediction- 2190-2240
I really worked hard at bringing my scores up… hopefully I do pass that 2200 barrier

@brojames: I caught three careless mistakes in total and nearly had a heart attack each time.

what was the grid-in question that has an answer of 42?
the question for the grid-in answer of 65? and same for the answer to 1600?

anyone remember?

Will the curve be the same for international students since we did a diff. Test

65 was something like…
24/12 = z/4.5 = x/4 = y/24 ??
x+y+z = 65

Did I do this right?

Jan: 186 [Meaning 186 happened this month]
Feb: 391 [Meaning 205 happened this month]
Mar: 700 [Meaning 310 happened this month]
Apr: 821 [Meaning 121 happened this month]
Jun: doesn’t matter

Total: 1224 (including june)

Q: What percent was april out of the total?

A: 121 / 1224 = .9885 = %10 Choice A

???
