USC app/scholarship question

I noticed that the deadline for Scholarship Consideration is December 01, and I'm not sure if my additional materials will be completed by then. Are the scholarships awarded only the following:

NATIONAL MERIT FINALIST PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP
PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS
INTERNATIONAL FRESHMAN ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
JEWISH LEADERSHIP SCHOLARSHIP
USC ASSOCIATES SCHOLARSHIPS

?

If that's the case, I'll feel more relieved about choosing the January 10 deadline.

The USC website says
You must apply for admission by December 1st to be considered for USC merit scholarships.
I would take that to mean ALL USC merit scholarships.

You can find a list here: http://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/private/docs/0809/USCScholarships.pdf

Thank you!
Are letters of recommendation due by December 01 as well?
I can't find it anywhere on their website

Again, from the USC website:
It is your responsibility to ensure that all required application materials are sent to USC by the posted deadlines.
Colleges sometimes give you an unstated grace period of a few days or weeks for certain application materials, like recommendations, when you as a student do not have total control over the submital. I do not know USC's policy regarding late recommendation submitals, but you could call and ask their admissions staff. Regardless, it is best if you meet the deadlines.
