<p>@mummy1 and 3kids-- Both your children seem very qualified and certainly in the range for great news from USC in March. Not getting invited to interview for one of the major scholarships does not indicate rejection at all—and these students may very well be a great fit for USC. Glad both your children have fabulous options already and I’d guess that they will have more by April 1.</p>
<p>Wait, how is everyone hearing back already??? I have heard nothing so far 
they said that they are not considering me for any of the huge merit-based scholarships. Could this be why I haven’t heard anything yet?</p>

<p>ichoosehouse - students who have been told they are being considered for scholarships have been, in effect, “accepted” already. My son was not considered (4.0 uw GPA, 35 ACT) so he has withdrawn his app and has accepted at his first choice school.</p>
<p>Should I be concerned that according to the common app USC downloaded my application but not the supplements for engineering yet?</p>

<p>My DS applied to MIT, Cornell, USC, CMU, RPI, WPI (accepted), RIT (accepted). He could not apply ED to USC because his major (Games & Interactive Media) required the portfolio and other art supplements.</p>

<p>I know this is off topic but I’m at Explore right now and USC is plain amazing! From music to milkshakes, USC really has it all- just last night I went to a jazz concert! People are just soooooo happy here. I am so glad that I came here. If you are admitted you have to go to the overnights!</p>

<p>my USConnect shows I need an expense/income form. I think it’s just a routine thing; I wouldn’t read too much into it.</p>

<p>Thank goodness I wasn’t the one doing the applying! I can’t keep them all straight anymore.</p>
<p>Correction is: S2 couldn’t apply ED to either CMU or Cornell, and USC had an earlier deadline of Dec 1, because of the program/portfolio requirements. Dec 1 was also the deadline if one wanted to apply for USC scholarships, so that was convenient.</p>
<p>I am one amongst the many that will be hosting the lucky ones who get admitted for exploreSC. I look forward to seeing some of you!

<p>I talked to my counselor, they said April 1st. No sooner no later.</p>
<p>^ Really? Last year people were getting them the last week of March like the 27th or something. Maybe that’s when everybody should get their decision letters by…</p>
