Has anyone received an email from financial aid TODAY asking for more documentation? Would financial aid still be asking for stuff “today” if I’m getting rejected?

Trustee Scholar! Received the letter today!

For the people having error issues on the portal, does it say this?:
“The system is experiencing a technical issue, this function is temporarily unavailable. Please try again or contact us.
Error code:IS1”
:/

edit: My Financial Aid box thing has the “NEW” stripe on the top right of it, but I can’t seem to click it, I get that error.

I don’t know about some of you guys but my portal is working just fine. Is that a bad or good thing? lol :p

will orange county get it tomorrow?

^ Most likely! Good luck! :D

@elladre: the “New” Financial Aid stripe has been there for a couple of weeks now so I doubit it means anything

@midtriplet yeah, I know, it just bugs me that I can’t click on it…

^^ I dont think he is referring to it being new, I think he is referring to it being unclickable or unable to open.

Also, I will say that I tried to click these links on my phone, and they wouldn’t open. So maybe it is just you are on your phone and not a computer.

I tried clicking on these boxes earlier on a box and I got those errors.

Do you think the acceptance/rejections will be in Sacramento by tomorrow?

AHHHHHHH!!!
Well they sent them off earlier today people!! Go to the USC blog and read what the USC admissions had to say…They said this was the best group in 133 years(waaat?), and amazingly, the admission rate went up(hmmmmmmmmmmm), and 64% were students of color(wow!that includes Asians people)

But anyway, Stay positive for tomorrow, what ever the outcome is, you all have a great purpose in life ahead of you!!!

Just remember
- You all will have a college to go to
- If you aren’t satisfied with your college, you can transfer into another one.
3.If you don’t get into USC, its not the end of the world - You if you are worried about your love life instead, use the same advice and take out the word college/USC and put in relationships lol

OMG!!! I AM FREAKING OUT!!! LOL

*breathe, breathe

Good luck everybody! Thanks for letting us know ilovemyego23!!! :D

Well that’s wonderful!
The 64% of colored people is a wonderful statistic.
The 75% of admitted applicants that are in the 95th percentile of standardized testing is startling (for me at least). This 95th percentile for the SAT is around the 700s for every category, meaning 75% of admitted applicants got at least a 2100. I only got an 1870 so that sort of makes me nervous.

I CAN’T WAIT FOR TOMORROW

I find that blog post from USC somewhat ironic. Not just USC, but all colleges nowadays emphasize (at least it seems) that it’s not about stats. It’s about what you do as an individual and that they want to see you pursuing a passion to a certain degree. Many colleges state that students’ applications are looked at holistically. My point being is that when you read that blog, what do you find comprising at least 1/3 of it, stats… I don’t want to sound critical, but I just thought it was kind of interesting. Maybe our society likes to use statistics to quantify certain aspects of things…

Anyway guys, on a new note, I wish everyone good luck and hope that regardless of which schools you get into, that you will have successful careers and lives aftewards.

That’s one of the best things I’ve read on CC!

You have a good sense of humor when basically all of us are freaking out about tomorrow yet you still find a way to make us smile! lol :)

64% are students of color? I find that an odd statistic. I guess that is everybody that isn’t white. So Asians and Indian are people of color in this stat I assume, which is just different than other schools count things.

Good luck everyone.

I’m about to have a heart attack.

Of course - I’m leaving for Los Angeles tomorrow, and I live in Ohio. My mail won’t get here until at least Friday, so I have to wait until Good Friday for USConnect or an email update.
I’m gonna die.

I don’t think I’ll be here for the next few days because once I read some people receiving their letters, I’ll get more jealous and paranoid wondering why I haven’t gotten anything. lol
