<p>If you’re a spring admit, aren’t you going to be a semester late in classes/credit?</p>
<p>@Osserpusser Oh okay, that makes sense. I, too, know someone who received admission in Spring but then was accepted into the Fall semester. When do they notify you if there is space in the Fall semester (Do you have to commit to USC first)?</p>
<p>@Osserpusser I think you are right about Spring admits being held off to have better scores in Fall reporting numbers at USC. This exactly what happened to a friend, and that was the reason he was given. He just started this January at SCA. He’s a happy kid!</p>
<p>I would actually be happy with spring admission in all honesty…it will help me work and save up money for a car lol</p>
<p>I’m from Norcal and did not receive any letter/envelope from USC today! I’m hoping that it arrives tomorrow! My USConnect Financial Aid says “error” now, so I’m not sure what that means…</p>

<p>Yeah it sounds good and all but I’m afraid, if I’m admitted in Spring (which I hope I’m admitted in fall let alone the school lol :p), that I’ll miss all the cool first year semester events such as Halloween and the football games. I also think I’ll have a little bit of a tough time making friends now that everyone pretty much know each other and already found their “group” or whatever.</p>
<p>My financial aid gives me errors as well.</p>

<p>Curious I know what you mean. I’ve thought it through…I think you should just show up randomly and make friends…you can go to the football games and all the events…its just classes you can’t start…</p>

<p>Good luck to all those still waiting to hear. I wouldn’t read too much into your USC Connect portal. People who have been accepted/rejected in some cases have had the same message on their portal.</p>
<p>Ya, that was a thoughtless post on my part. I saw people posting about acceptances and assumed that they were nationwide already. Then I looked back and realized only people in Cal were posting and the acceptances started today. Here’s hoping some USC acceptance letters comes tomorrow and numb us up for the wounds that the Ivies are going to inflict at approximately 5:00pm.</p>
<p>^I 100% agree. Those accepted have had either no change, or a possibility of two changes a. “We are unable to process your information…”
b. “…will be posted on USC Connect by March 29th…”</p>

<p>I must say I’m freaking out a lil’ bit. I have the stats, I interviewed twice, my essays and rec letters were good–but since I’ve been getting rejection letter after rejection letter from other schools, I’m feeling pretty shot. At this point, I’m 2 for 6 and neither of the schools I got accepted to are ones I actually would want to go to.</p>
<p>And since I didn’t get the USC letter today, I actually went down to the post office and asked if they had tomorrow’s mail (they didn’t). The lady working at the desk looked at me like I was crazy.</p>
<p>KMart I know how you feel…i was feeling great at the beginning of the application process…I got into my second choice…but with not enough aid…I’m like 3 for 6 right Now…1 rejection and two waitlists…</p>

<p>At first, back in November, I was pretty optimistic positive about my chances of getting despite my low test scores, and when January came around and I wasn’t considered for the scholarships, that’s when my optimism went down. lol 
No that people are receiving all these accept/reject decisions, I’m getting more nervous with each passing second. lol I think I’m just going to stay in my room all day til my mom brings me something from USC! ;)</p>
