Popular Music
Whoah I know that’s super competitive–best of luck to you! Definitely more competitive than choral music (they had 16 people who auditioned and I think they take around 3-5).
USCAdmissions just tweeted “the letters will be mailed on March 23, so you’ll receive them after that date”
But I bet all of us are going to be anxiously watching out mailboxes before that date
Yeah, I know. If I don’t get in, I’m just glad I made it past the pre-screen audition.
I applied to music industry!
They said they had over 54,000 applicants and that was a record!!
@nonnnee88 It seems like all the schools are having record amounts of applicants this year, darn!!
@nonnnee88 that’s like half of UCSD lol. Oh well, hope I get in
@mdorbust For tulane, they send out emails randomly. Some people got accepted in early march and some people got accepted in mid-march. So there is no exact date for Tulane letters. Hope you get in though!
Thought they were going to mail them a day earlier on Tues. ug back to Wed.
@EmmaGrace33 I saw you posted that the popular music results were delayed until the 28th–is that from a reliable source? Just thought it would help @genibeni to know about that.
28th?? Oh lord
If they start mailing them on Wednesday, what time will they normally arrive if you are accepted?
Depends on where you live the closer to SC the sooner it will arrive - need to ask the mail guy if he will come early this week to our house
https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/
Use the zip code 90089 and there will be a map of how long it will take depending on where you live!
OMG – THREE DAYS to our zip code. I hate life.
@genibeni only heard that from a friend who applied to pop music - she has friends in the program who said they got theirs a little later. I called Thornton and asked and they were just super vague about it
Ah alright thanks
If we live in the LA area, is it likely we will recieve our acceptance or rejection letters at the same time because we’re in such close proximity to USC?
Mine will come two days after omg I can’t handle life
