The theory was that because of their post about shipping boxes, that it would be trackable as a box. Quickly debunked by the revelation that the envelopes were boxed up instead

The Viterbi Admissions Instagram page just said that they will be mailed tomorrow.
@college7465 your regional counselor is the first and last person to open/close your application, as stated in a presentation prior to a tour I took on campus.

Edit: however, they are definitely not the only person to read it. There is a whole admissions team determining whether they believe you will be successful at their school or not.

I wouldn’t count on anything until Thursday, fellow SoCal folks. There have been no pictures of anything being mailed out today, and Vitberi just commented on an Instagram pic that everything is being mailed tomorrow. I’m in San Diego, so I’m just going to plan to hear in Friday. If I hear before that…then I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Hey everybody! I’m new to this thread, but I feel all of your pain. I’m so terrified! I’m from so cal and have a really strong application, however my SAT and ACT aren’t the strongest. I have a 1980 and a 31, do you guys even think I have a chance?
Decisions are being mailed out tomorrow. I sent my admission’s officer a letter of intent. I cut out half of the email from him but here is the rest of it, “Our decision letters will be mailed out on Wednesday so you’ll have your decision soon. Wishing you all the best,”

Yeah I think they’re mailing it out on Wed. In the past years they have posted a picture of the adcoms in the post office with boxes of letters when they actually send them out.
