j3nnyx3- I went to Marshalls Transfer day and they said it shows you dont have interest in the school as a whole and strongly recommend you have a second major in line.

It's probably not too late to add a second-choice major. The letters that they sent everyone asking to confirm that information was correct would likely allow that to be fixed. I know they sent those a while ago, but you might have a shot anyway. Otherwise, give them a call. It's certainly worth a try.

korean_halfbreed - If you don't want to spend $10-$15 to fax stuff, you should check with your CCC's transfer center. Maybe they'll let you use their fax machine?

DJS3CA--When you log onto OASIS there's a box titled Financial Information and the last option in it is Financial Aid Summary. Click on that one and choose the 2008-2009 school year and it will show how much they are offering you.

Another way to tell if you got in is to check the STARS Report and see if its been updated.

<Communications. But yes, looks like the majority of people on CC here are doing Business.
Wow, competition is going to be fierce for Marshall then. :P

DJS3CA and anyone else who needs to send in additional info:
email them at their main undergrad admissions email (pardon me, i don't have it in front of me right now) and give them your USC ID and explain the situation. i called over there first because i had a grade appeal win that changed my GPA and i dropped the class i was to repeat, and they told me to just email them and they would put it in your file. you should get an email saying they've done that in 24-48 hours, although right now it's getting busy since they're starting the transfer applications. if you want to wait and call them tomorrow, you can, but they will probably tell you the exact same thing.

for the people applying to the clas, i dont think they have even started looking at the applications yet (and if they have probably very few that were received the earliest) despite many of our status updates on oasis saying "under review." they will probably be getting under way soon, but i would guess they are primarily just sorting the applications and materials for review...
