USC Financial Aid Problem????

I am an admitted student to USC Marshall for Spring 2010. I am worried my financial aid application to the school is having problems and may be affected by late paperwork!!!!!

Here's my problem:

I submitted all of my FAFSA and CSS Profile information along with tax returns in January, in accordance with the deadlines. Then I find out in April that the school is missing a "Non Filing Tax Student form" that is basically saying that I am not filing taxes this year. Apparently it has been holding the entire thing up. After i faxed that in last week, 2 MORE DOCUMENTS have appeared on my status check that need to be completed. A MONTHLY INCOME FORM and a DIVORCE SETTLEMENT.

Here's my question:

Will the tardiness of these less important forms jeapordizer my entire financial aid application, and will i get less money?? Time is running out to turn in my SIR and I have still not finished all the paperwork. I need to KNOW BY THE END OF THE MONTH???

IF I TURNED MY FAFSA AND CSS AND TAX RETURNS in in January, is it possible that i have already been evaluated, or have they not even started.....

IM VERY WORRIED!! HELP!!

They haven’t determined your aid. They need those forms done asap.

You might get less aid, but that’s because of the non-filing statement, and not these last two forms.

I turned in my parents’ tax forms late (though it was their fault!), and then they made me submit two different forms. I faxed them the next day, and they gave me an offer a few days later. I was extremely happy with it.

So the moral of the story is get those forms faxed in the next day or two.

i had my parents forms in though…i dont understand how important my income could be seeing as IM A SENIOR IN HIGH SCHOOL, VERY BUSY, AND NOT EVEN 18. Ridiculous to think that that form botched up the entire thing. I will send in those forms quickly. thanks for the tip. if anyone else knows about this or usc, post a replyyyyyyyy
