usc or cal poly san luis obispo for computer science?

<p>I would choose Cal Poly since it’s less than half the cost. I’m not sure if USC is really theoretical like the UC’s; my guess is it’s somewhere in between SLO and the UC’s.</p>

Just a note - USC is not a UC. It is **a private university **not associated with the UC or CSU system in any way.</p>
