USC or UVA for undergrad business?

Which would provide an overall better experience, Marshall or McIntire? There just so different and I’m having trouble deciding. What are some pros and cons of each and which provides a better education?

@lifeishardomg I will comment on McIntire only as I don’t know much about USC. The opportunities offered through McIntire are excellent including recruiting for Internships and jobs after graduation. Make sure that you understand that you don’t apply to McIntire until the second semester of your Second Year. Admission is competitive and not all applicants get in. Also, when you look at the acceptance rates, keep in mind that alot of kids self-select out of applying during their first few semesters when they realize their GPA is low for McIntire. There is lots of detailed info on the McIntire site. Also if you get in to McIntire tuition goes up. This year for OOS students it is an added $5,000. Good luck getting into UVA. It is great school and my S18 loves it.

If you are eligible for Access UVa aid, your UVa aid will go up to cover the increased tuition. However, first you will need to take out federal loans and will be offered work study to meet part of your needs.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I have been accepted to both. I recently got accepted to Marshall so if I were to choose USC I would be guaranteed a spot in business whereas at UVA it would be a 50/50 shot. However, I would be willing to take the risk if UVA is significantly better in business than USC.

I am confused, Didn’t you have to commit on may 1st? Aren’t you a little late…Hr is my response…UVA is ranked higher nationally. USC bus. school is good. It really comes down to where you think you want to live post grad. USC has amazing alum resources on west coast. Their reputation does not extend so much to northeast. UVA is stronger for NY. A sure thing is not something to dismiss. Good luck. But again, why are you asking now

USC is allowing me to start for spring semester if I change my mind about UVA.
