I have been looking around online and I cannot find due dates for the additional application materials for the December 1 scholarship deadline.

When are test scores supposed to be submitted by?

Additionally, I cant seem to find a solid answer as to whether I need to submit an official transcript by mail along with the one from my counselor in the Common Application? Also with test scores, do they want the unofficial reports mailed to them?

Any help is gladly appreciated.

The testing organization must send official test scores (sent from College Board if SAT and ACTstudent.org if ACT). They would not accept test scores mailed by you. You go online to that organization and request scores be sent to each particular school.

Your school should send the official transcript, mid year report, whatever they require from the school — you do not have to send an additional one. If the school has you send transcript yourself, it would have to be sealed/signed across the seal before it leaves the school office, but most do all this electronically now. Confirm that your school is sending what you think they should send. I would assume you have a counselor that coordinates this stuff?

Your common app MUST BE IN by Dec 1st for merit scholarship consideration.Otherwise there is the regular decision deadline which is January 15 if you can’t make December 1. Also, as a side note, if your application has any supplemental things - writing/portfolio etc., those must meet the December 1 deadline if applying for merit consideration or January 15th if applying regular decision.

They understand that transcripts and recommendations - things from the school - may be a bit delayed somewhat and don’t hold that against you. But you should verify this stuff is getting sent and be sure your counselor (or whoever coordinates) knows you are applying for a Dec 1 deadline. Good luck!

Ok thanks. I appreciate your response. I know that the deadline is December 1 for the Common Application. But is this also a receive by date for the ACT and other exam reports?

Here is a Q&A from the admissions at USC from 2012, same would apply today.

I have submitted my application but I Still have to submit my Transcript and SAT Scores, I am not sure that they will meet the University in time for the December 1st Deadline, Are there any other options?

The Common Application and USC Supplement must be submitted by the December 1 deadline to be considered for merit scholarships. Other documents should be submitted as close to the deadline as possible, but please note applications will not be reviewed until they are complete.

Ok got it. Thank you for your help :)
