USC Viterbi School of Engineering Faculty Receive High Honors

<p>The USC Viterbi School of Engineering faculty members have received high honors. It was announced Professor Mataric was honored at the White House where she was given the Presidential Mentoring Award by President Obama on January 27th.</p>

<p>Professors Humayun and A. Requicha were elected to the National Academy of Engineering for their accomplishments. </p>

<p>Named an AAAS Fellow is Professor C.C. Kuo.</p>

<p>Professor M. Tambe was named to the National Academy Advisory Panel and recently was awarded the Columbus Foundation Homeland Security Award.</p>

<p>IEEE honored two Trojans as Andrew Viterbi received the IEEE Medal of Honor and Ph.D. student, Neil Siegel, received the IEEE Simon Ramo Medal. In addition, six Viterbi faculty were named IEEE fellows.</p>
