USC vs. UT Plan II

Normally I would easily pick USC over the University of Texas, however I was admitted into the plan ii program there which is supposed to be very prestigious. after having done the research the program also looks very enjoyable.

At USC I was admitted into Marshall, the business school, however I might switch to a liberal arts major in philosophy.

Both universities have acclaimed film schools, which I would like to get a second major in. I understand USC is more prestigious in that area than UT, however I think UT's film school would be easier to get an internal film transfer into?

Also I plan on potentially trying to transfer into Columbia after a year for a degree in philosophy and film. Which school do you think would make me look more competitive? And would transferring there even be worth it?

anyway besides that let me know which you think would be better overall, thanks guys

How’s the financial side of things? If it’s an issue…

i got a small 1000 nonrenewable scholarship to ut. i’m in state so it’s not too big of an issue. i haven’t heard anything back from usc. i heard they sound out that stuff in like mid/early april.
