and environmentally friendly i suppose. GAH today is going by very very slowly. did anyone else receive a letter in january asking for semester grades?

do you guys mean mon/tues for scholarships? I thought they were mailing on tuesday

If I am accepted to USC, there is a really good chance I will attend, especially if I am rejected from Emory. It’s going to be close between those two schools. They are both so good.
This week is going to be so stressful :(

There are two groups waiting for information:

Those interviewed for Trustee and Presidential scholarships. It appears their notification might have been mailed on Saturday (if other posters are correct about what they read and heard).

Those waiting for admission decisions: These should be mailed out on Tuesday 3/27, with international students getting the DHL notification as their packages get put into the DHL system.

They mail out decisions on the 27th so can we expect to receive our decisions in the mail during the week?

Hopefully it arrives quickly to NorCal

Yes. Mailing Tuesday the 27th. Areas around LA (including San Diego) will receive the letters on Wednesday 28th. Almost all of the other areas (norcal, east coast, etc.) should expect their letters after two days on Thursday the 29th. Some remote areas and areas hard to get to will receive letters on Friday the 30th. I’d say everyone SHOULD be with a letter (assuming they are accepted) by Saturday.

Hopefully we can check USConnect on Tuesday for indicators of admission?

I’m SO nervous…

Don’t know what will happen this year, but last year USConnect did not update until 3days after the decisions were mailed.

BigTExDAd, as I recall, last year (and the year before, because we were one of them) some students DID see their USConnect change just before their acceptances came (while many did not.)

how long does it take for the DHL service to register the mail? I am asking because right now im in china so if i dont get any notification on the 27th ill be very distraught, but if it is all registered afternoonish it will probably be during 1 or 2 am here. haha i just need something to put my mind at ease, waiting for admissions is stressful.

same here, while internationals are probably the first wave to know about the decision arent we. Chill down. one more day to go.

actually it might be more than just a day… it could take a few days to scan all of the packages. that’s what kills me… you just don’t know when you’ll get the email or if you ever will…

I feel your pain everyone It really is a bad way to find out… I guess the silver lining is that if we never get the email we can prepare ourselves for the actual rejection letter :(

This is where I got the info on USConnect taking 3 days to update last year…

Very long thread from 2011:
[When does USC’s RD decisions come out? - College Confidential](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=1099836)

You’ll forgive me if I don’t hunt through threads to find the exceptions I recall, although it’s possible my memory fails. But it’s encouraging that this year, USConnect updated as scholarship acceptances packets were being mailed. So let’s hope we have some early clues for those who live far away!

Yeah, I am sure everyone will be checking USConnect constantly, so we will know as soon as it updates.

BTW, I did not check all of the threads for the exceptions either. I was just hunting to get an idea of what happened last year.

AHHHH the anxiety XP

Initially I thought it was Tuesday, but if you live in Southern California you may be receiving your letter today.

SoCal people! Keep us updated on when you get yours… that means we Norcal people will get ours the day after!
