Using One Course to Fulfill a Part of IGETC

I took HIST 4B and did well in it, so I was wondering if that class clears me from one class Area 3B and 4 or do I need to take another class in that deparment to fulfill the IGETC?

“At least 3 courses: 1 course from the Arts and 1 course from the Humanities, plus one additional course.”

So you must complete a class from the Art section and then you need a third course and it can be either from the Art section or the Humanities section.

Does that make sense to you?

I know that, but can one class count for two different sections of IGETC?

oh! My bad I get what you are asking. That’s a good question I always wondered that. I figure not but maybe!

I’m going to say no, but you should call your college. I know that if you are getting an AA, they allow you to do that. Well, at least at my college.
