While working on the USNA application, I realized that they only utilize a Math score, and a Verbal score. The Math is obviously self-explanatory, but i have never heard of the Verbal before. Is it a combination of Reading and English, or just Reading? This has me confused.

The SAT has math and verbal sections. The ACT has English, math, reading, and science. USNA converts ACT scores to SAT equivalents for scoring applications.
