USNA Packets received 8 April 2006

9:15 here!

Sorry, just a quick question for clarification to those who have opened their usna packets: how many or what documents are missing from the Permit to Report packets? Thanks!

do most plebes get their immunizations during I-day or prior to i-day?

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

It has arrived. 0830, sweet!

Get you immunizations before you come and keep a copy of the record in your pocket when you enter Alumni Hall on I-Day. There have been more than a few candidates that ended up getting duplicate immunizations because they could not find their record on I-Day. If you have a record in your pocket you could avoid a potential problem. Sometimes people get mild reactions to immunizations so it is best to get them before you arrive. You don't want to start your Plebe Summer feeling a little lousy.

pierce...we had the DNA, Emergency Card and Patient Registration. As previously posted, fuggeddabout the DNA...so we only had the other 2 and USNA is mailing them out to us today

Got it. Thank you peskemom.

thank you peskemom! that really helped!

Ok...got that we are all missing the emergency card, but it appears I missed the Navy Fed. Credit Union App. as well, unless it's attached to something else...or missing, or...anyone know?

Sorry folks, I "thought" I'd logged off last night! Peskemom.... as if I'm NOT going to have 346 rolls of film and cam corder come I-Day (if sis shows me how to use it!). LOL! I'm a notorious picture-taker!

Since we just mailed acceptance notice yesterday, I'll try to write as much of this stuff down so I won't be "re-hashing" when sis gets her Report papers. As usual, you all have been fantastic, ah, family!

hbc...the navy federal credit union package is a blue folder, with several sheets of paper inside of it. It's your standard bank-like application/introducation to us kind of thing. It doesn't look like the Navy paperwork, if that helps. The only thing is that they had preprinted stuff on the application for the mid...so that it's clear they have a USNA application in front of them. So if you really don't have a copy, I do think you might call USNA first, not Navy Federal.

8:00AM, perfect time.

DBH, 0800 for me too! I'll be able to sleep in! (yeah right. I probably won't be able to sleep, period)

Hmmm, I wonder if the PtR time has anything to do with what company we end up in...

Report time is 9:00AM.

My last name starts "Wi..." Perhaps report time is alphabetical?

My guess is that they start with the earliest completed acceptances, start at 6 or 6:30am, and move forward. Our daughter's Candidate number ends in 075....which may also hint at her early notice from Admissions, coupled with her Acceptance to her Appointment back in January. So what do others think?

Oh, and USNA emailed us the 'missing papers' yesterday too....along with at least a couple hundred others emails, telling us we 'are not alone'. You gotta love their open email lists...It took 2 pages of printing before we got to the body of the letter!

I can't find the Plebe Sponsor Questionnaire. Any idea where it can be found?

The email said it was up.

Peskemom---good luck figuring out the reporting times. I knew some very late appointees that had the earliest reporting times. Comparing notes with others, it does not appear to be alphabetical, based on company or when you received your appointment. It is either totally random or some very complicated means for assigning reporting times :).

well usnamom, another theory bites the dust! Thanks pm
