<p>When do we hear about if we are accepted in the USP program. I was accepted early decision, I my admissions counselor at washu said that i could still apply by jan 15 since the committee that does usp doesn't know of your acceptance.</p>
<p>I was accepted ED as well and did USP for medicine :P. I think they call you for an interview around March/April, and if they like you and you agree to go to WashU (doesn't matter for us, as ED is binding), you're in. It's gonna be a lot of fun keeping that 3.8 and getting a 36 on the MCAT though ;)</p>

but how hard is it to get a 36? what would be a roughly comparable score on the SAT, if that comparison is possible?</p>
<p>I talked to my doctor (who actually went to WashU for Med school)...and he told me with a 3.8 and a 36 on the MCATs, you could pretty much go to any med school in the country.</p>
<p>I've heard that as well. Of course, it's nice to know that you're guaranteed a spot in a top medical school. Since it's not mandatory that you attend the medical school after undergrad, I guess it doesn't hurt either.</p>
