@stoppingtheworld I give the UT Austin a call the other day and they told me that UT Austin DOES NOT accept transcript electronically. I had to resubmit my transcript recently. However, I am an out-of-state student, it may be different for you. Don’t quote me on it. Give them a call.
@IVokon How strange. I’m looking at my email that says they have received my transcript through the SPEEDE Electronic Network, which is basically electronic delivery. MyStatus shows receipt and my transfer audit is correct, regardless.
@zainnaeem Some say no, it doesn’t. However, it’s hard for me to understand how someone from a prestigious school would be put on the same level as someone from a CC.
@IVokon @stoppingtheworld They do accept transcripts electronically, but only through SPEEDE or Document Upload System. Anything emailed to them will not count.

Under “Transcript submission”
@awesomesaucee I thought it was also weird how CC credit looks the same as a prestigious school on a transcript. But, what I’ve read, is that it doesn’t matter if you went to A&M or CC, what matters is did you use the resources given to you to the best of your ability.
Okay, uh it’s taking forever for the apps to go in review ):
My thoughts exactly @CEEEFLO
@awesomesaucee I realized that technically I’m an out of state student as I’ve been taking classes online from a school based out of New Hampshire and they have to go through everything since it’s not an exact equivalency necessary. I imagine that’s what is going on right now.
@CEEEFLO @colanxgirl Yeah, i’m getting really impatient now. I was almost positive they would go in to review today, because most did on this date last year
@OGmandyV Are you a Texas resident? I am also going to an out of state school in Louisiana but i’m considered an in-state student because I have residency here
UT is on spring break right now so I don’t think anyone’s looking at our apps. They’ll probably start going into review next week.
@rusalochkaa Thats true, but UT was on spring break last year March 13-18 and according to the transfer thread, most people’s apps went into review on the 15th
@rusalochkaa It’s possible but I emailed an admissions counselor with a question and she responded earlier this week. So personnel are still onsite.
Yea from my understanding admissions is still working, they don’t get spring break. Hopefully they will go into review soon and judging from previous years hopefully we will get answers in 4-5 weeks!
@awesomesaucee well shucks, I am. Hmmm. It doesn’t say canceled or anything so I guess I shall wait and see! Everything’s been received, so I shall eagerly await!
just finished the scholarship application yah!
does anyone’s application say in review ?
Mine does not
Nope! Still just complete
does the office of financial aid see your admission essays at all? I submitted my scholarship info and the general essay was pretty much straight out of my statement of purpose since it answered the question, just curious if there is any cross over?
