Is it true that UT doesn’t convert your grades and just look at them in the same way they received them?
@Shaibleb I am not too sure about this but I saw what looked like my transfer audit and saw the exact letter grades there that were on my transcript. I have straight As (for now) so I am not too sure how they could change.
@stoppingtheworld do you remember how you got to the place that looked like the transfer audit?
@awesomesaucee I did an Interactive Degree Audit (IDA). I googled it and as long as you were logged into MyStatus, your stuff should pull up. When I clicked on Student Planner, all of my classes were there. When I ran an audit, my grades appeared in the report. I hope this is what you are looking for!
@stoppingtheworld Oh my god wow!! Thanks so much for this. I can see all the courses I took and what class they count for at UT. This is especially helpful because I am coming from an OOS school.
I’m gonna post some easier instructions so other people can find this too if thats okay.
Credit to @stoppingtheworld for this

@awesomesaucee and @stoppingtheworld I didn’t see any courses completed when I tried…
@Thompson2688 Are you on the “existing courses” tab? I can see all my classes that were on my transcript, the classes they are equivalent to at UT, and the grades I received on them.
Hmm nothing shows up for me either “You have no completed courses to view.” Maybe it’s because I’m an international applicant? But I’m applying from a US community college… Hmmm most interesting this is. The higher ups at the university are playing games with us!
@awesomesaucee yes I was, it says they received both transcripts, this is odd…
Hmm, interesting. I can’t think of any factor that would make some people have it and some not. Maybe some other people can weigh in on this and tell us what they see.
Both me and stoppingtheworld applied to CNS, which could be one reason
Maybe they haven’t processed some applications yet? My app still says complete. Is yours in review @awesomesaucee?
@OGmandyV I was able to use the IDA as soon as they received my transcript. My application is still not in review.
And no problem, y’all! I hope y’all make good use of it. I know seeing the percent completed of a degree is very helpful.
@OGmandyV My application is only completed. It is not in review
Well hmmm thanks ya’ll!
Could it be the way the transcript was submitted? I uploaded a PDF version of my transcript to the Document Upload System. Maybe if it was sent using paper through your school it might not have been filed yet?
I had an official one sent electronically from my college.
@Fudgerino Looks like we are in the same boat as we both are an international applicant. We have to be qualified for the competitive scholarship to get OOS waiver. What are your GPA and the credit hours completed?
Does the college or university you are applying from affect your chances of getting in?
