If I applied to McCombs as a first choice and COLA Econ for second, will i be accepted/rejected from Econ at the same time as the other COLA applicants when they release their decisions? Or will I have to wait until I get my McCombs decision in order to know whether I got into COLA?
@lovieland you will get your answer from your first choice and if you are rejected from the first choice then they evaluate for second choice. So you won’t know when the other COLA applicants receive their answers.
@lovieland and @colanxgirl Does that decrease their chances of getting into COLA since they are evaluated so much later than everyone else (meaning there’s less spots)?
@Thompson2688 from what I understand, yes. Since it’s their second choice all the transfer applicants that put it as their first choice get priority. I may be wrong but that’s what I’ve heard.

@lovieland If you want to major in something business related, then you should stick with McCombs. If your main priority is to go to UT, no matter what major, then you could possibly switch to economics. Don’t switch it on mystatus, you should call them and ask first. Idk what’s more important to you

@Thompson2688 last year people got answers at all times through the weekend and late at night. I’m sure they have a rolling system because they can’t all go out at once.
