UT Austin Chance - The only school I want in

<p>I've applied and am very anxious for the decision.
I applied to Business 1st, Education 2nd, and then I heard you are also looked at for General Studies. Please any comments and chances are appreciated.</p>

<p>-Texas Resident
-ACT: 30 (36 Math, 31 English)
-SAT:1950
-GPA - Weighted 4.99/5 Unweighted: 3.95/4
-Class Rank: Non Ranking (not top 10%)
-Only 2 B's my whole high school career (34 of 36 A's)
-3 AP's and 7 "Pre Aps" taken
-Attend very competitive High School in DFW with 3500 kids
-100+ community service hours
-Played Football and Basketball all 4 years
-NHS, DECA
-Many awards but mostly athletic awards
-Pretty solid but not outstanding resume
-2 good LOR's
-Very good essays (In my opinion)</p>

<p>I think you have a good chance at UT Austin. Being in-state helps, and your GPA is definitely a bonus. I’m not from Texas nor did I look at UT in depth, so take this with a grain of salt, but I’d say definitely a great shot.</p>

<p>I think the only thing hurting you is your SAT score, but even that’s low-middle.
You’re in. I think. I’m from Texas too!</p>

<p>I think with that resume at hand, you have something of a fighting shot at UT.</p>
