I'm on the UT Plan II waitlist and the thing is, I only want to go to UT if I get into plan II. The waitlist, however, forces people who want to be part of it to pay their deposit and declare a spot on the waitlist by April 15th. I know it's pretty much impossible to tell, but what do you guys think the chances will be like this year to get off the waitlist? The active waitlist is supposed to have something around 40-60 people on it

what is your other top choices? i would go for the waitlist, if you dont get in P2 maybe you get a refund? or you could just go with your other top school

Well the thing is I’ve gotten waitlisted at 7 schools + plan II. It’s ridiculous. I received almost not rejections, all waitlists. I got waitlisted at Chicago, Emory, WUSTL, Vanderbilt, Hopkins and some other random schools I don’t want to accept a spot at. So it’s a dilemma, I know chances off of waitlists are low but after getting waitlisted at so many I feel like I have a chance at one of them. If I don’t get into plan II or any of those 5, I will probably go to Michigan.

michigan is a great school, i’m assuming you mean ann arbor.

yes, ann arbor
