Guys, I’m excited to hear about my decision too, but this issue probably has a lot to do with flooded servers. Just stay cool! Your portal will be up before you know it.

i just checked my friend’s on my computer. it didn’t work on my phone though-- that may be the problem
accepted. took 30 minutes to log in. So exciting!!!. Out of state, ACT 35, GPA unweighted 4.0/4.0, some leaderships.
Accepted!!
S Denied. OOS, ACT 32 (33 SS), ton of ec, leadership, etc. Engineering, 4.0 gpa, lots of service, etc.
Deferred
I am OOS with 1420 SAT and a 97.88 weighted GPA (we don’t use a 4 point scale). I have a decent amount of leadership and activities but no major awards or national recognition or anything like that.
Any idea how many people get in that are deferred? This was my top school so I really want to try and stay Optimistic.
Yay @Chocolatepi ! From what country are you from?
my friend got deferred with 1500 SAT and a 4.2 GPA and volunteers at a hospital about 20 hours a week. he applied to the kinesiology school though, so im pretty sure it’s more difficult to get in. but from what I’ve heard, uva doesn’t defer as much schools, so that means they still consider you a strong applicant
accepted!
1500 SAT 3.95 GPA
Accepted! Congrats to everyone!
Deferred
I am OOS with a 1450 SAT and a 4.8 weighted GPA. I have strong extracurriculars and hope that I can get in as an Economics major during the regular decision round. Also, if your grades dropped a little bit during the first semester of senior year would that be a significant disadvantage? Good luck to fellow deferrals and congrats to everyone who got in!
D18 Deferred OOS, seems holistic as she had strong gpa and EC, but 32 ACT.
Does anyone know when do the acceptance packages arrive? and are they also sent to international students?
@KAMmom can you ellaborate on the child’s ECs, leadership, awards, etc. I am sorry to hear about the decision especially if you are out of state. I will have a child in the next few years, legacy, applying. Thanks for any information. At UVA, as we can see, it is much more than test scores and GPA.
