The deadline was for the students. It is not at all unusual for scores, transcripts, and recommendations to trickle in late (within reason). What does it say online for your daughter?
They have a very clear deadline for everything including counselors paperwork.

My application says incomplete… but on the to-do list it says that I only have to submit my first semester grades which I do not have yet, so I am confused. Anyone know why this is happening?

@thewait123 UVa doesn’t do merit aid, in state or out of state, with the exception of a very tiny number of Jefferson Scholars.

@prodesse And even at that, Jefferson is not sponsored directly by UVA but by UVA alumni. Thus the consideration is separate. UVA has programs like Echols, however, which do reward on a merit system and may have some small scholarships.
@habitualnerd Echols is NOT anything to do with scholarships. It is a special program, but no money attached to it.
My child is a Rodman Scholar and has received a small scholarship (outside of the stipend given to all Rodman’s). We thought it might be a one-time deal, but did receive the scholarship in her second year as well.

“There are 3 small scholarships available to Echols Scholars which are administered through the Center for Undergraduate Excellence”

It’s got to be tomorrow, right? The overall number of applicants is not much larger than last year
i just went on my sis page and there was a link that said view decision and my heart stopped for a minute and i clicked on it but it said decision not ready check back january 31. I swear i almost had a heart attack there!
